Multimedia Writing
Another interesting thing i came across todaY as i got sidetracked from researching stuff for my assignment (sorry MabeL! :P). I found this journal of multimedia writing called inFlect and the screen shot below is one of the pieces available there.
Multimedia writing is an integration of text, visual images and sound into a reciprocal relationship; writing combining critical and creative content *InFlect About*.
It's fun, colourful and definitely eye-catching - a good way to attract/keep surfers' attention to your page. I wonder if this can be incorporated into teaching-learning process, this way the percentage of students sleeping in class might actually decrease :D .

hmm.. that's a good idea if that is incorporated into teaching-learning process. (^_^)
that way, I would not feel sleepy. But, if its that interesting, would students be more focused on the images rather than the content?

hahaha true true... becomes a distraction hor? buT then if you puT like difficult words in funky flash writing i bet we would've remembered it better.... like the full name of MPEG in flash then whoaaa all of us sure remember it because we paid attention to the funky writing .. rite?
